Lia Le Brun Robles Gil

Lia is a subject editor covering the nature and geography portfolios for The Canadian Encyclopedia. She holds an honours BSc and an MSc in biology and journalism, as well as a graduate certificate in science communication. Her research, conducted through Bishop’s University and the University of Saskatchewan, focused on forest pathology and wildlife ecology. Lia’s interests also include paleontology, geology and physiology. She has also worked as a field biologist, teaching assistant and wildlife rehabilitator, and has written for various publications, including The Canadian Encyclopedia, The Sherbrooke Record, and The Lunenburg Barnacle. Her photography can be found throughout The Canadian Encyclopedia.
