George Myatte (Primary Source)

Corporal (retired) George Myatte served with The Royal Canadian Regiment. In the 1990s, he was among the first Canadian forces to enter the former Yugoslavia on active service. As part of the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR), one of Corporal Myatte’s assignments was the protection of the Sarajevo airport.
